* ASQ1 FIRMWARE RELEASES

** asq1-007.fw - Jul 22.

+ Greatly improve cv/gate overdub mode to handle held notes etc.   
+ Improve note LED positions related to playback position and state.
+ Better resync playback pos when pattern shortened (pattern length below current pos). 
+ Display firmware version and Din Sync status when booting with /Play/ held. 

** asq1-006.fw - Dec 22.

+ Fix issue with trigger sequencers not dividing. 

** asq1-005.fw - Dec 22.

NOTE: Installing this update will wipe any saved patterns and effectively
factory reset your device. Any backups made prior to this update will
also not work.

+ Fix some wierd issues with pattern saving and corruption especially
   with high bank numbers.
+ Improve timing accuracy of overdubed trigger input.
+ Fix annoying 'Squeek' when slide is input. 
  
** asq1-004.fw - Sep 22.

+ Added Sequence reverse and shuffle. Hold /STORE/ + oct up or down. 
+ Added note key led flash for last loaded/saved pattern when /PLAY/ down. 
+ Added support for extra +/- octave transpose. Hold either octave button
  during transposing.
+ Added Din Sync support (boot with /PLAY/ + /HOLD/ held to toggle.
  NOTE: disables internal clocking. 
+ Fixed bug where sequences would not reset in sync if divider set

** asq1-003.fw - 11 Aug 22.

NOTE: Installing this update will wipe any saved patterns and effectively
factory reset your device. Any backups made prior to this update will
also not work. This is needed to support the extra save slots and
should be avoided with future updates!

Improvements/fixes include;

+ Dont share save banks between modes. Every mode now has its own set
  of 13 save banks.
+ 'Global' load of both Sequencers or or all 4 trig patterns by holding
  /MODE/ + /PLAY/ + note key in relevant mode.
+ /PLAY/ + /HOLD/ toggles transposing on and off . This allows for
  auditioning before overdubbing. (Sequencer mode)
+ Double tapping /STORE/ when in overdub will rollback any changes
  made since overdub mode was entered (i.e big undo). (Sequencer mode)
+ Fix potential issue where adding pressing /HOLD/ in overdub could
  add high pitched notes. (Sequencer mode)
+ /REST/ better deletes steps (and can be held) in overdub. (Sequencer mode)  
+ Fix potential step skip during a playing load. (Sequencer mode)
+ Fix some issues with pattern length setting and browsing. (Trigger mode)
+ Better sync the current playback position red LED. (Trigger mode)
  
** as1-002.fw - Aug 22.

This is the original initial firmware release.

* FIRMWARE UPGRADE NOTES

Connect ASQ-1 *unpowered* via USB-C port on left side of the module to
your computer (using a known working cable!). An 'ASQ-1' external drive
should appear on your computer. Copy the firmware file onto this drive
and await for the copy to complete. ASQ1 will eject indicating update
complete.
